
Homeowners that purchased energy efficient windows in 2011 will qualify for a tax rebate, though the credit is not nearly as generous as it was in 2010. This year, homeowners can get 10 percent of the cost of their windows back. However, a $200 cap has been placed on the tax credit for energy efficient windows. Compare this to last year, when homeowners were able to get 30 percent of the cost of windows back, up to a $1,500 tax credit. (more…)
