Homeowners that purchased energy efficient windows in 2011 will qualify for a tax rebate, though the credit is not nearly as generous as it was in 2010. This year, homeowners can get 10 percent of the cost of their windows back. However, a $200 cap has been placed on the tax credit for energy efficient windows.
